Excess Major Medical Insurance

Catastrophic coverage to cover eligible Medical expenses above base medical plans that include caps or limits on benefits.  This plan is designed as supplemental coverage when your basic coverage, including Medicare, falls short.

• Lifetime benefit of $1,000,000.
• Choice of two deductibles, $30,000 and $50,000.
• Covers a wide range of eligible medical expenses not paid by your basic health plan, including:
  
  Doctor’s fees for diagnosis, treatment or surgery
  
  Hospital room and board charges of up to $400 a day and intensive care charges of up to $800 a day
  
  X-rays, lab tests, prescribed medications
  
  Home health care visits and hospice care up to plan allowances
